Our Mission Statement

The Cantaré Community Youth Choir, established in July of 2001, strives to expand horizons in the areas of music and theatre for the children of the under served Starr County area.  The organization is committed to providing opportunities for artistic and personal growth through choir and drama performances.

Our Goals:

The artistic enrichment of its participants, their families and the community

Promotion of, exposure to and attendance at professional musical/theatre presentations through out the Rio Grande Valley, South Texas and beyond

Promotion of and provisions for choir/drama performance opportunities for the participants

The fostering of high self-esteem, and sense of accomplishment among members

Encouragement of self-discipline, and accountability traits among members
